the location worked great for exploring. it's a short walk to both the pier and the main shopping area. the rooms were clean (i liked this a lot).
my room was small, and the mattress was quite firm (not my favorite).

The room was cold and the bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired. the shower curtain had discoloration at the bottom. little water came out from shower. It trickled really.

the location was ideal! it was just a short stroll to the beach. the proximity to the pier and funfair was AMAZING!!! it was only a 3-minute walk. the staff were all lovely and friendly, and they were very helpful too.
it looks like it could break down. the hotel sits on top of a hill with a small car park. it has limited spaces, and it is laid out so you could be blocked in.
